Earlier this year I received an email from OurState Magazine wanting me to photograph an assignment for them. Without hesitation I agreed and set out to photograph the Croatan National Forest. I grew up exploring it with my granddad, I actually learned how to drive on the miles & miles of roads that meander the national forest. So to have a photo assignment here got me really excited! I spent several mornings out photographing and I will share more images in my next post but for now here is the images that they used for publication.
Having my images published in magazines was the dream when I was a kid! Hope you enjoy and be on the lookout for more images I created while on assignment. Let me know what you think below!
