Bald Eagles in the Snow
A couple of weeks back we got a coastal storm that brought several inches of snow. After spending time with family, I set out a couple days later to photograph some wildlife. While on the road I came across three bald eagles sitting in a field not far from the highway. As I slowed down to investigate what was going on I saw that they were feeding on a opossum carcass. Well, actually one was feeding and the other two were hoping to get a bit. I spent roughly 3 minutes with them before they flew further off with the opossum. Here are several images that I was able to create during the brief encounter.
